Eligibility Criteria:

Age : As on 1 Nov 2017, Candidate must be between 18 and 25 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/11/1992 and not later than 01/11/1999 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.


 

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate should have cleared 10th Standard (S.S.C./ Matriculation) from their respective State or UT, under the regional jurisdiction of the regional office from which they are applying. 

  • The candidate should have the domicile of the state or the union territory from which they are applying. 

  • As on 1st November 2017, the candidate should be an undergraduate. Candidates possessing higher qualification need not apply.

Selection Process: Selection process consists of Online examination and Language Proficiency Test.

Online test except the test of General English will be in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi. ii. There will be negative marking for wrong answer in the Online Test. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Language Proficiency Test: The candidates provisionally selected from the On-line Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be conducted in the Official or Local Language of the State concerned. Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.

There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the objective tests in both the preliminary and mains exam. Candidates will lose 0.25 or 1/4th marks for every wrong answer.

Candidates must clear sectional cutoff and overall cutoff in preliminary, mains exam and language proficiency test to be selected as RBI assistant. The last round of selection will be Language proficiency test. Candidates must display their best of language skills in local language for final selection of RBI Assistant 2017.

Union Bank of India Specialist Officer 2017 Exam Marking Scheme

  • For every correct answer, marks will be awarded depending upon the subject (total questions and marks are given in the above table).
  • There is a negative marking of one fourth (25%) of marks for every incorrect answer. So, candidates should answer each question carefully.
  • If the total of the penalty for a test is in the fraction, the marks obtained will be rounded off to the nearest integer. If a question is left blank, then there will be no marks for that question.
