IBPS PO 2018 Exam Pattern & Selection Process

IBPS PO Exam consists of 3 stages:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview

Note: IBPS has made a change in the exam pattern this time for Prelims Exam. It has introduced sectional timing for each section in the Prelims exam.

IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Exam is of 100 marks which is divided into 3 sections. The total time allotted for this exam is 1 hours which is divided into 20 minutes for each section. The exam is objective type and the mode of exam is online.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

A candidate must be a Graduate from any discipline from a recognized college/university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The candidate must have English as language in SSC/HSC/Intermediate and Graduate level. The candidate must have proof in certificate of passing the qualifying exam.

  • Minimum age should be 20
  • Maximum age should be 30.

SBI SO 2018 Selection Process

Candidates are selected through an interview process for various posts under SBI SO 2018-19. The interview process is conducted through an online test and interview. Candidates must bring all documents to the interview process like Experience certificate, educational mark sheets, etc.

ii) Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. Online application will not be registered unless candidate uploads his/her photo and signature as specified. Failure to produce the same photograph at the time of Interview may lead to disqualification.

iii) Candidates should fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidate should submit the data. A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen after saving the data. Candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved data using registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed. 

iv) The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card / Internet Banking etc. by providing information as asked on the screen.

v) After the candidate has successfully completed the transaction, e-receipt and application form with the date entered by the candidate will be generated, which should be printed and retained by the candidate.

vi) If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online.

vii) You can alos re-pring your e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at a later stage.
