The candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age and the maximum should not be more than 30 years as per the LIC Assistant Official Notification 2020.

LIC Assistant Education Qualification

It is mandatory for students to have a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any field from a recognized university, according to the LIC Notification.

For Ex-Servicemen

  • HSC (10+2+3) with 10 years of service
  • Matric: 15 years of service
  • Non-Matric: 15 years service + Indian Army special certificate exam or corresponding exam in Air Force & Navy

Other Conditions

  • Those who have worked for a short time, say 85 days, in a financial year after July 01, 2008, governed by LIC & fulfill other eligibility conditions can apply. Relaxation for upper age is applicable
  • Those who have worked for 85 days or more in any 2 consecutive calendar years & governed by LIC can apply

IBPS RRB Interview 2019

Candidates who will clear IBPS RRB Mains and single test for Officer Scale 1, 2 & 3 will be shortlisted for the personal interview which is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the month of November 2019. This is the final stage of the IBPS RRB Selection Process.

  • There is no provision of Interview round for Office Assistant posts.
  • The final result for IBPS RRB Interview and Provisional Allotment will be declared in the month of January 2020.
  • There will be a total off 100 marks allotted for IBPS RRB Interview.
  • Candidates who are from General category need to obtain the minimum qualifying mark (40%) and applicants from SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories need to obtain minimum 35 % in order to qualify the interview round for the post of Officers Scale I, II, & III.

IBPS RRB Provisional Allotment 2019

IBPS will prepare a provisional allotment list for each category as per the number of vacancies. However, the provisional allotment will not guarantee the selection of a candidate. One must fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by the conducting body and must get their documents verified by the officials.

  • Selection of candidates will be purely on the basis of merit and IBPS
  • The official Guidelines regarding Age Relaxation, reserved categories set by the Government of India will be kept in mind during provisional allotment of seats.
  • Candidates from reserved categories who will clear IBPS RRB 2019 on own merit will be adjusted against the vacancies of unreserved category and will be given provisional allotment first treating them nationally as reserved candidates as per their preference of Regional Rural Banks.
  • Such candidates will not be adjusted against a reserved post, although, he/she will be treated as a reserved category candidate for the purpose of allotment of seat.

IBPS Interview Process and Results

Shortlisted candidates for the interviews are completely based on the IBPS SO Mains examination marks. No IBPS SO Prelims marks are considered for the interview process. The IBPS is tentatively to schedule the interview for IBPS SO in the month of February 2020. Candidates attending the IBPS SO interview are approximately three times the total number of vacancies. The interview process of IBPS SO is conducted by participating organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State or Union Territory candidates need to appear for the interview in specified centers in their respective states. Here the IBPS SO Mains score is converted into 80 and IBPS SO Interview score is converted into 20. Suppose a candidate has scored 70 marks in mains exam out of 100, and 78 marks in the interview out of 100, final allotment score will be calculated as [(70/100)x80] + [(78/100) x 20]. The weightage is given to the IBPS SO Mains exam and the final scorecard is a combination of 80:20. The Final IBPS SO Results or Provisional Allotments will be declared in the month of April 2020.
